So yesterday was the first time that we were able to go snorkling because of all of the rain we’ve had so far. There were a few sea turtles that were pretty close to the shore. A number of ignorant tourists were touching them, even though it was well posted that doind so was illegal, but whatever. So after about 6 hours of soaking up the sun and shopping at this super swanky mall we came back and ate dinner. I’m really happy with yesterday because I didn’t get sunburned, which is a pretty big accomplishment for me because I’m super white and usually get sunburned when I just go to beaches in Seattle. Today I was not so lucky, but we still had so much fun snorkling. Well, we had fun on the beach anyways. The visiblitly was maybe 5 feet, it was super cloudy and the sand was kicked up. But everyone was swimming, tanning, or digging holes. I don’t know what the holes were for, niether did the people who dug them, but they were nice big holes. So now I’m about to go help serve dinner since my group cooked today. Goodnight!
